One aspect that I enjoy about Kundalini Yoga is the vast amount of Yogic Philosophy and remedies offered within the Kriyas and Meditations. A few days ago, I was preparing for a Women’s Wellness class focusing on working the glandular system. I ran across a Kriya for metabolism. Being mid winter, and a middle aged woman, supporting metabolic function is important to me. So, I practiced the set right then and there. It is one of those sets that includes holding a piece of fruit, which I find fun! You then bless it and eat it at the end of the set. Once I finished the Kriya, I read the paragraph comments at the bottom, and it said in the months of February and March, practice these metabolism sets and eat many “P” fruits - fruits that begin with the letter P; Plum, Pomegranate, Pear, Peach, Pineapple etc.
Join us for Kundalini Class on Friday, February 21 from 6-7:30pm est online (or in person in Essex, VT, USA) to practice this wonderful fun set! Details and register here.
Enjoy your “P” fruits and good metabolism! : )
